German American announces the promotion of Jim McDonald to Regional Executive Vice President Agricultural and Commercial Lending. In this role, Jim will work closely with Joel Smith, Regional President, to serve farm operations and businesses in Knox, Daviess, Martin, Pike, and Gibson Counties with customized financial solutions, putting them on the path to future growth and success. Jim will also continue to lead German American's Ag Services division, which also serves the counties of Vanderburgh, Warrick and Posey.
Jim has 27 years of experience in agricultural and commercial banking. Throughout his career he has held key leadership roles in strategic planning and business development, along with growing and managing financial teams. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Murray State and currently serves on the board of Thy Word Network. Jim and his wife, Carolyn, have two children, Molly and Ivan.
