German American Bank Recognized for Focusing on Small Business SBA Lending

German American Bank was recently recognized by the Indiana Statewide Certified Development Corporation (CDC) as one of their top two 2017 Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 lenders in Indiana. Dan Collignon, a Regional Executive Vice President and Commercial Credit Officer at German American Bank, was also recognized individually as having created the most SBA 504 loan debenture dollars in 2017.

SBA 504 loans help small businesses with longer term fixed rate financing and, in the majority of cases, with less upfront capital," states Mark Schroeder, Chairman and CEO of German American Bancorp, Inc. "This recognition from the CDC regarding our focus on SBA 504 lending is a testament to our financial team's involvement and commitment to the business community in the markets we serve."

Indiana Statewide CDC parterns with bank lenders and is one of the leading providers of 504 loans in the country. In fiscal year 2017, Indiana Statewide CDC funded more than $28 million in loans to 39 companies. The projects created or saved approximately 440 jobs.
